Openings:

 

1.       Aerospace engineer - GSFC Greenbelt, Maryland

 

The position requires knowledge of electro optical sensors and systems of various spectral regimes. The candidate must be familiar with  satellite design, integration and test of electro optical systems (including supporting electronics and calibration devices). The candidate should have a BS in an Engineering or Scientific discipline (advanced degree preferred).

 

2.       Satellite Calibration Engineer: Mountain View, CA

 

The candidate must have an M.S. or higher in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.   A minimum of 3 years experience with designing or testing electro-optical imaging systems, preferably for space applications.   Must have a strong background and experience of atmospheric radiative transfer, statistics, and image quality metrics.   Other desired qualities are:   Proficiency in high-level scripting languages, and knowledge of orbital mechanics and space systems.

 

3.       Electro optical Systems Engineer:   Chantilly, VA

 

The candidate must be a self starter, be able to work as an on-site contractor, and provide continuous and effective communication.   Your qualifications must include proven technical and project management qualities of space systems.  The position requires detailed knowledge of electro optical sensors and/or systems. The candidate must be familiar with the end to end design of sensors.     This includes experience in:  design, build, risk reduction testing, analysis assessments, validation and verification testing, and operational experience is desired.    The candidate should also be familiar with the supporting electronics for the instruments’ command & control and calibration.   The candidate should have a BS in an Engineering or Scientific discipline (MS degree preferred), with a minimum of 15 years experience.
